MFE Formwork Technology SDN BHD has recently opened their first office in China. The Representative Office is strategically located in the city of Foshan close to Guangzhou in Guangdong Province. MFE will be well placed here to benefit from the continuing growth in the residential market mainly in the condominium sector. MFE have permanent full time staff in their China office and will be supported by the design and manufacturing office in Malaysia.
The MFE team have already visited other provinces throughout China and will open offices in various other cities where they have identified potential. The formwork market is currently dominated by timber and steel forms. Chinese contractors have shown a keen interest in the MFE aluminium formwork technology as it can deliver both rapid speeds of construction and the increasing quality standards required for the many higher end condominiums being constructed.
